Short post today. A day spent hiking followed by an evening spent parenting means little time for writing.
This was the perfect beer for a snowy hike. Something with a little of weight to it, but not sweet. Something with a hit of hops saying, “Wake up mouth, this isn’t water!” without scraping your tongue dry. Something in a can so you don’t weigh yourself down (or possibly leave broken glass on a trail, even accidentally). Something artfully crafted that says, “You accomplished something today, have a little treat.” Something small enough to finish, but big enough to share.
