Ahh, beer.
A Beer A Day
Thanks for checking in! This blog will be an attempt to review a different beer every day of 2022. I guess we’ll see how it goes!
Enjoying beer is a sensory experience. That means paying deliberate attention to what you see, smell, taste, and feel. It’s difficult, because, if you’re like me, you can’t do it justice while talking to friends or watching TV. That being said, it’s OK to enjoy other things while you’re drinking beer! Beer brings people together. It acts as a social lubricant. It can help enhance your experience, whether that’s eating a meal or sitting around a tabletop game. It can be a nice treat after a challenging (or rewarding!) day. So, sometimes my posts will be in-depth about the beer itself and we can nerd out. Sometimes (like the first post, spoiler alert!) it may be about a memory that the sensory experience triggers. Sometimes it may be why I paired it with a food, or what I’m paying attention to instead of the beer (probably my kids). Anyway, that’s enough preamble. You get the idea.
Disclaimer: all opinions are solely my own, all facts are researched with a single scan through my memory banks, and everything that isn’t fictional or misremembered will be linked back to the source material.
